한경진은 서울대학교 작곡과와 동대학원을 졸업하고 영국 University of Southampton에서 박사를 마쳤다. 동아 콩쿨 1위, 한민족창작음악축전 대상, Grieg 국제 콩쿨, Kubic 국제 콩쿨, Luxembourg 국제 콩쿨 등에서의 입선 및 finalist의 경력이 있으며 현재 전남대학교 예술대학 교수로 재직 중이다.

 

Kyungjin HAN received his B.M. and M.M. at Seoul National and Ph.D. at University of Southampton. He has won competitions including the Dong-A Music Competition(1999), the International Edvard Grieg Memorial Competition for Composers(2000). In addition, his works were selected at the Landislav Kubic International Competition(2000), the Seoul Music Festival(2000), Luxemburg International Competition for Composers(2003).

He is now Professor of composition at Chonnam National University.
